Sealed bids are accepted on the above project the Makkovik Inuit Community Government Office, 16 Andersen Street, until 4:30 p.m. on April 20, 2012. Quotes shall include all permits, fees, and other charges.
All documents, drawings and specifications are available at the town office. The contractor shall acquaint themselves with all existing and site conditions and agrees to supply all labour and materials in accordance with the scope of work.
The contractor shall provide a letter of good standing from the Workplace, Health, and Safety and Compensation Commission.
Work that is scheduled to be completed within (4) weeks or less will be paid upon completion of the work, less ten (10) percent holdback required. Payments shall be made monthly for work that is scheduled for completion in more than six (6) weeks until all work is performed, equal to the value of work completed, less ten (10) percent holdback required. Invoices charging HST must include a business number from Canada Revenue Agency to qualify for payment.
