RE: MAKKOVIK GREEN SPACE PROJECT

The Makkovik Inuit Community Government has been successful in receiving a grant from ACOA to build a Green Space in Makkovik

Location: Bayview Crescent Cul De Sac

Scope of Work

1) Construction and painting of a wheel chair accessible gazebo with a fly screen enclosure.
2) Construction and painting of picnic table(s)
3) Construction and painting of entrance sign for the Green Space Area
4) Placement of raised beds, as directed by MICG
5) Placement of guiderails in area, as directed by MICG

*All materials for the project will be provided. Contractor must provide own tools*

Safety Gear/ Safety Measures:

The successful contractor( including any other workers(if any) on site involved in the contract) must adhere to the MICG work place health and safety guidelines including the use of safety gear while on site, including safety vests, hard hats, steel toe boots.

How to submit your quote

Please submit quote in a sealed envelope to Chief Administrative Officer, Kate Mitchell, Town Administration Office, with title of " Green Space Project" on outside of envelope. The quote is to be in written form and must include the amount requesting for work, and the name of bidder. We will not accept any unsealed bids.

Highest or lowest bidder not necessarily accepted.

Deadline: Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 12 Noon

Start Date: Monday, June 27th, 2022( tentative start date)
