Position: Building Custodian (Relief Worker – On Call Basis). To be called in as needed when the Building Custodian is on annual leave, sick leave, etc.

Terms: Open to both male and female applicants.

Qualifications: Successful candidate must have valid code of conduct.

Hours of
Work: Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, noting that gym cleaning is during the weekdays only, after gym closes. Building Custodian may be required to assist the Town Staff throughout the year with any day events scheduled.

Duties: Includes the following: Cleaning Town Office( must be flexible around meetings) Community Hall( must be flexible around hall bookings) Municipal Garage, Youth Centre, Fire Hall, Arena & Gymnasium( Note for Gym Cleaning: cleaning each night from Monday to Friday after gym closes which is normally 9:00 or 10:00 pm, Building Custodian not required to clean gym on weekends.). The Cleaning duties for the Town Office, Community Hall, and Youth Centre, Fire Hall, Municipal Garage, Arena includes (but not limited) to dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors, cleaning windows, washrooms, putting out garbage, cleaning tables and chairs, spring cleaning, waxing and other duties as requested. Salary: Salary is $14.32 per hour plus Northern Allowance and 4% Vacation Pay.
