MAKKOVIK LOCAL HOUSING COMMITTEE

BACKGROUND
TRHA is seeking nominations to form a new local housing committee in the community of Makkvoik, comprising, of 5-9 members.
TO BE ELIGIBLE TO SIT ON THE HOUSING COMMITTEE
You must be the full age of 19, or older

NON-ELIGIBLE:
•Anyone seeking Housing Assistance
•Anyone who is in arrears with the Association
•Anyone who Works/or Spouse Works for Torngat Regional Housing
•Any Contractor/or Spouses of; for Torngat Regional Housing
•Anyone who has Children, Grand Children (or) Parent Working for Torngat Regional Housing
•Anyone who has Brothers/Sister in Laws; (or) Mother/Father in Laws Working for Torngat Regional Housing Association

NUMBER OF COMMITTEE MEMEBERS:
The Local Housing Committee Shall be comprised of (5) to (9) members for a two year term.

NOMINATIONS AND ELECTION INFORMATION:
Nominations will begin on Thursday, March 14, 2019, and close on Thursday, March 28, 2019, from (9:00 am to 4:00 pm).
Nomination forms can be picked up at the Inuit Community Government Office between (9:00 am and 4:00 pm).
Elections will take place at the Inuit Community Government Office on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. If more than (9) people are nominated.
