Makkovik Inuit Community was successful in receiving funding from the Makkovimiut Trust to hire TWO LABOURERS for eight(8 ) weeks for a Seniors(65+) and Physically & Mentally Challenged Assistance Program. This job opportunity(s) is open to anyone looking for work whether he or she is unemployed or currently on EI.
When reviewing Letter of Applications, MICG will be seeking individuals:
Who are highly motivated, with good work ethic.
Do not mind working outdoors and used to daily physically labour .
Hourly Wages and hours of Work:
The hourly rate is minimum wage( $ 11.49) plus 4% vacation pay. The work week is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday( 40 hr per week).
SCOPE OF WORK:
Shovelling Snow
Wood chores consisting of splitting wood, making splits, bringing in wood, sawing wood.
DEADLINE TO APPLY: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2020 AT 12 NOON WORK TO START THE FOLLOWING DAY.

As per MICG policy, there will be a weekly deducted weekly pay cheque, should the person hired owe an outstanding amount to MICG
