WORK REQUIREMENTS:

Collect all man-made markers on trails and bring back to Makkovik , to be stored by Municipal Garage. For the tree markers, collect and tie into bundles, store at suitable area, making sure to record where these markers are left. The routes include

 Makkovik to Little Neck
 Makkovik to Witch Doctor
 Makkovik to Drunken Harbour( Markers leading to and on Bens Cove Neck and those markers on Ben's Cove only where ice conditions are deemed safe)

Pricing/ Submission:

Please forward a price quote to CAO by email (townmanager@makkovik.ca)for this work contract taking into consideration your time and work, gas required, usage of snowmobile. Please submit quote ASAP as our goal is to have the work completed immediately due to mild temperatures in the forecast.

Safety Protocol

In keeping with our safety protocol, workers must carry the required devices while working, including spot, satellite phone and GPS. Due to COVID-19 measures, workers are expected to follow the 6 ft physical distancing.
