2023 Municipal Taxes
The 2023 Municipal Tax Invoices will be mailed out by end of January. For any households still owing last year's taxes( 2022 year, issued in February 2022), we strongly encourage you to make installments or pay in full, as any unpaid amount will be subject to a monthly interest, if not paid by June of current year,
DISCONNECTION DATE -July 02, 2023
Payment in full for last year's taxes must be received by July 02, 2023 to avoid any interruption of services . Services will not be re-connected until payment is received, including a re-connection fee of $ 50.00( plus tax).
Did you know that the cost to homeowner for water and sewer services is only 0.55 cents per day?
Two of Town's annual operating expenses for the Town Water and Sewer system ( not including other operating expenses such wages, ws pipe and fitting materials , etc ) is:
Hydro invoice for main pumphouse, which pumps water to holding tank and on to households , at an average cost of $ 2,600.00 per month, total of $ 31,200.00 per year and $ 20, 000.00 per year for the daily chlorination( purchase of hypochlorite-disinfection substance). The total water and sewer tax revenue, normally an average of $ 30 800.00 per year earned , goes directly back into helping to pay for these two expenses.
