Today, Wednesday, May 20th, 2020, there will be a door to door delivery of bison meat to each household( one pc per household) .
If you do not get any due to not be home during the time of delivery, please let MICG know, by calling our CAO at 923-2155 .
The availability of this bison meat to the Local Community Freezer is made possible through the NG Hunters Harvesting Funding , allocated from the Federal Government COVID-19 Program food security measures). Thank you for everyone involved for the funding/ planning/ supply/ and delivery of bison meat to our Community

Tuesday, May 19th, 2020.
In keeping with the MICG Road Clearing Policy, the road from Makkovik Clinic to Ellen's View Line will be priority. For safe access and maneuvering of our Heavy Equipment, some driveways or areas of Town may need to be plowed during the road clearing...

Please be advised that there will be a helicopter operating from near the Gas Station TODAY 12 May 2020 slinging fuel to Monkey Hill with a 100-foot sling and fuel bladder.
The road access to the gas station will be closed off for safety reasons.

On Friday May 1st at 1:30pm OKalaKatiget radio will be hosting a 'live' COVID-19 collaborative panel. The panel is a partnership between both Nunatsiavut DHSD and Labrador-Grenfell Health. The panel participants are:

Makkovik to Drunken Harbour( Markers leading to and on Bens Cove Neck and those markers on Ben's Cove...
