Section 32 of this Act prevents any Inuit Community Government from competing with any private business in each of the respective communities.
Section 221 of the Municipalities Act states the same.
In the Makkovik Inuit Community Government (MICG) case this will prevent the MICG from operating the canteen at the new arena as it operated during the past two seasons.

To help ease the congestion at the dock area the Makkovik Inuit Community Government would like to ask owners of any boats, property or material they may have in the area to please remove same.
With the fall shipping season in full swing, shorter daylight hours and for boaters using the launch way, the least unnecessary parking the safer it will be for all users.
Thank You,
Barry Andersen
